Promiscuous Encounters - Addressing/Assessing Adhocracy

November 3rd, 2012 2:00-6:00pm at the Galata Private Ottoman-Greek School as part of the Seminar Program of the first Istanbul Design Biennial Departing from the Adhocracy “Open Call” statement, Promiscuous Encounters launched four questions to deploy a conversation. An open discussion that has taken the form of a roundtable with invited speakers from multiple backgrounds. Everyone attending the event was invited to actively engage in the conversation. With this second iteration of Promiscuous Encounters, it is intended to put into practice a promiscuous mode of operation by interfering in the Istanbul Design Biennial as a site of criticality.
